Today (May 1), Lil Baby dropped an expanded version of his No. 1 album My Turn. It features new songs that were not on the initial February release, which landed on the top of the Billboard charts.

This time, the album boasts the additional track “All In” and an accompanying visual. It is one of the three new songs that Lil Baby takes on solo. Other new additions include “Let’s Go” featuring DaBaby and “Emotionally Scarred Remix” featuring Meek Mill. 42 Dugg and Rylo Rodriguez also drop off assists on the new material. It’s almost like fans are getting an additional album from the Atlanta rapper.

With the original release at 20 tracks in an age where fans are lucky to get 10, Lil Baby isn’t being stingy with his music. The pastoral artwork from the original release is back, but in night mode this time.

Earlier this week, the rapper took to Instagram to sarcastically say that if his label, Quality Control Records, didn’t give him $5 million he would “go back to hustling.” With a deluxe version of his smash album that has received praise from Lil Wayne, who is featured on the album cut “Forever,” why would he?

Lil Baby’s career has been running on rocket fuel since his breakout single “Freestyle” from the Perfect Timing mixtape three years ago. His last album, Harder Than Ever, arrived in 2018. He’s dropped a slew of mixtapes in between.

Before Coronavirus upended the world, he was working on the Lamborghini Boys mixtape that is still happening, although, at this point, a release date is still to be determined. This deluxe edition is sure to tide listeners over until then.

Production contributions for the new songs include beats from Quay Global, Southside, Twysted Genius, and others.
