Currently, G Herbo is still flying high off the release of his third studio LP PTSD, which saw 14 tracks from the Chicago star and additional appearances from Chance The Rapper, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, BJ The Chicago Kid, Lil Durk, Juice WRLD, Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage, and more. This week, he delivers a new visual from the project for “Death Row,” a definitive answer to anyone that still doesn’t know where G Herbo comes from:

“Herbo really quiet, I get loud ‘bout my cheddar tho’, really was outside on the nine with Berettas, oh/

No bap, I ain’t lyin’, I got five on my schedule, so if I text “Outside”, come outside how I tell her/

I ain’t regular, I knew she was a vibe when I met her, I rock thousand dollar sweaters, b***hes love me like Coachella/”

Inspired by the west coast empire for which the track is named, the accompanying music video switches from color to black-and-white, showing Herbo in a couple of classic lowriders flanked by beautiful women in bandanas. The clip follows recent drops for “In This B***h,” “Gangbangin,” “My Bro’s A Legend,” and “Feelings.”

PTSD was released back in February and earned a top 10 spot on the Billboard 200 with 59,000 equivalent album units sold. Prior to that, he dropped off the Southside-backed Swervo and Still Swervin in 2018 and 2019, respectively. Speaking to REVOLT, Herbo opened up about being able to put his heart on his sleeve when it comes to the music:

“It was very difficult to be honest. But, I’m the artist that [can] lean towards pressure, you know? I’ve always been a believer that nothing happens by coincidence. You have to take the bad with the good. When you go through a lot of these times, where it’s some of the toughest times of your life, that’s just getting you ready for your moment of triumph. What’s to manifest after these times. For me to really embrace it and talk about it, it was hard for me to do. But, I felt it was the necessary thing for me to do.”
