Currently, G-Eazy and his family are celebrating his mother’s 64th birthday. In tribute to Suzanne Olmsted, the Bay Area star took to social media to share some special pics of him with the matriarch, along with a special message:

Happy birthday to the queen, my dear mama. I love and appreciate you more than words could ever express… So I used some Beatles words this time – swipe to the end to listen to what me and @iamjamesgillum made for her for her 64th birthday… My gratitude for all you’ve done for us is endless. I love you mom

As the above words reveal, G-Eazy also blessed his mother — and his fans — with a cover of The BeatlesSgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band classic “When I’m Sixty-Four.” The song was written by band member Paul McCartney when he was only sixteen. His brother, James Gillum, also contributed to the cover via trumpet.

Previously, G-Eazy teamed up with Tory Lanez and Tyga for his latest single “Still Be Friends,” which was premiered via adult sites Vixen and Pornhub. He also accompanied the track with a very NSFW visual to boot. He explained the raunchy clip (via Complex):

“I was brainstorming concepts for the video and thought of the Playboy mansion scene from Once Upon a Time in Hollywood so I played it on mute and it miraculously synced with ‘Still Be Friends’, so we decided to run with a ‘70s theme… I think the ‘70s were an iconic time, especially when thinking about the adult entertainment industry. So, we brought on Vixen to provide the girls and their massive platform.”

While many of us are too twisted up by the current situation to play along this year, G-Eazy decided to play an April Fool’s joke by dropping an Instagram post showing him with a new buzz cut. Perhaps his sense of humor is needed during such a crisis.

You can press play on G-Eazy’s rendition of “When I’m Sixty-Four” below.
