T-Pain and Lil Jon will be the next two producers to battle it out on Instagram Live.

Swizz Beatz made the announcement last night (Apr. 1) on his Instagram account. He captioned the post, “New paper work just in for this Sat 9 pm est @tpain VERZUZ @liljon it’s going to be a real showdown 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿 @timbaland VERZUZ !!!!! Who you got winning?”

T-Pain was originally set to battle Scott Storch yesterday, but at the last minute, he was swapped out and replaced with Mannie Fresh. “I was ready,” T-Pain tweeted after he was removed from the battle with Storch. “Dub or L I stand behind my shit. Tim and Swizz hit me and said they were lookin at comments and came to the fact that producer vs songwriter just doesn’t make sense. I didn’t back out lol I was ready to have fun on live shit. It’s comin tho.”

For this battle, each of them will get to play 20 hits each. “This time, it’s for real,” T-Pain stated on Instagram about the battle with Lil Jon.

T-Pain has produced and written many hits for artists like Ciara and Chris Brown. Lil Jon has been dubbed the “King of Crunk” and has produced hits for Ciara and Usher.

Fans have expressed their excitement to see the battle. One fan tweeted, “T Pain vs Lil Jon on Saturday. If nothing else I feel like I would be entertained lol plus they have both equally amazing hits.”

Another fan tweeted, “T Pain and Lil Jon will be good! Lil Jon was all over the Hyphy and crunk movement, however we know Theodore from Tallahassee has range and Hits!”

A third fan tweeted, “Lil Jon vs T Pain about to be a crunk ass movie bruh…where my 3XL white tee and Forces with da strap across it.”
