Earlier this month, Kehlani blessed her fans with a new single titled “Toxic,” which saw her seemingly delving further into her role in a certain relationship. Today, she dropped a new visual for the track, which sees her keeping things sexy and seductive in front of her camera. For the few of us who are in still in office, you may not want to press play on this until you’re in your own personal space.

The KBeaZy and G. Ry-produced cut — which also features vocals from Ty Dolla $ign — follows previous releases “Konclusions” and “Valentine’s Day (Shameful),” both of which gave listeners an in-depth look into the ups and downs of Kehlani’s relationship with YG. Presumably because of the current pandemic and subsequent quarantine, the singer decided to take matters into her own hands:

TOXIC (QUARANTINE STYLE) out now on my youtube i was red wine drunk tonight and locked myself in my room for an hour never edited a video before s/o iMovie on the Mac.

In addition, she requested for others to join her in creating a new challenge on social media:

my director name Hyphy Williams. TOXIC (quarantine style) home video link in bio. ToxicChallenge goin up cuz social distancing got y’all in the house bussin s*** too…

Prior to this year’s aforementioned singles, Kehlani delivered a slew of loose singles, including the Arin Ray-assisted “Change,” the Keyshia Cole-assisted “All Me,” and “Good Thing” with DJ-producer Zedd. She also gifted fans with the in-between project While We Wait,” which boasted nine tracks and features from Ty$, Musiq Soulchild, Dom Kennedy, and 6LACK.

In related news, she also recently wrote an open letter to her daughter Adeya Nomi, who recently celebrated her 1st birthday:

one entire year of witnessing a wonder of the world. one entire year of unimaginable joy.
