With live concerts and festivals getting postponed and canceled each day, celebrities are now resorting to performing virtually to entertain fans during the pandemic. Erykah Badu is the newest celebrity to offer her services to fans through what she calls a “Quarantine Concert Series.”

The “Bag Lady” singer took to Instagram to announce her plan for the concert series. “Listen love, the show must go on,” she said in the minute and half-long clip. “We gotta keep moving, y’all. We gotta keep this thing going. We’re a community of artists who…our survival depends on performing, creating, laughing, living, and loving when we’re still alive.”

Badu reassured her fans that more details surrounding the concert series would be revealed soon.

“Apocalypse One: live interactive experiment from badubotron,” she captioned the post. “This weekend. YOU CHOOSE THE Songs by poll. One $ to get in. 1 dollar. We gone pull it off. We gone be calm . You gone help me make it happen. Can’t do it without you. Stay tuned for details. E. Badu.”

Badu can follow the direction of John Legend, who just held a virtual concert for his fans.

Legend held the show through Instagram live as part of “Together at Home: WHO-Global Citizen Solidarity Sessions” a series of online concerts presented by Global Citizen and the World Health Organization (WHO).

During Legend’s concert, his wife Chrissy Teigen sat on the piano in a robe as he performed his hits. Their daughter Luna also joined her parents for the show. As over 114,000 viewers tuned in, he performed “Conversations in the Dark,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Preach” and an adjusted version of “The Office” theme song. He also performed the “Vanderpump Rules” theme song. The EGOT winner also sang “Good Morning” and closed out with “All of Me.”
