John Legend is doing his part to keep his fans entertained during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Legend hosted a virtual concert through Instagram live as part of “Together, at Home,” a series of online concerts presented by Global Citizen and the World Health Organization (WHO).

Legend announced the concert yesterday (Mar. 16) after his friend Chris Martin from Coldplay performed his own show virtually. Martin sang “Yellow” and a cover of David Bowie’s “Life on Mars?” Legend tweeted, “My friend Chris Martin did a lovely little concert from home today. I’ll be doing one tomorrow at 1 pm Pacific time. See you soon. We’ll try to get through this together! #TogetherAtHome.”

During Legend’s concert, his wife Chrissy Teigen sat on the piano in a robe as he performed his hits. Their daughter Luna also joined her parents for the show. As over 114,000 viewers tuned in, he performed “Conversations in the Dark,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Preach” and an adjusted version of “The Office” theme song. He also performed the “Vanderpump Rules” theme song.

The pair then talked about how his hit “Everybody Knows” came along.

“Some of you know that John broke up with me for a minute,” Teigen said. “Many years ago. And then I had to go to his shows still because I was still stuck there and I couldn’t go home. We were on tour.”

“I don’t remember this,” he replied.

“And then he sang this song and I was in the front row and I was crying because I liked this song a lot and he had just broken up with me,” she added. Legend decided to look up the lyrics to refresh his memory.

The EGOT winner also sang “Good Morning” and he closed out with “All of Me.” Who do you think will be the next artist to perform virtually? Check out Legend’s performance below.
