DaBaby scored a big win with his battery case in Miami.

According to TMZ, the “Suge” rapper has been cleared of battery after the Miami State Attorney’s Office decided to drop the charge. Reportedly, one of the victims, who is friends with concert promoter Kenneth Carey, refused to cooperate with police.

Police are still looking into DaBaby allegedly robbing Carey. Back in January, DaBaby was arrested for the allegations. He allegedly took $80, an iPhone 7, and a credit card from Carey after he shorted him on his hosting fee.

Carey claims that he had to go to a hospital for his injuries. His civil suit against DaBaby is still active and he’s asking for $6 million.

DaBaby took to Instagram to declare his innocence in the ordeal.

“Please stop talking to me about that weak ass 48 hours I spent in jail and that failed attempt to break my spirits & interrupt the path,” he previously wrote. “Don’t allow yourself to be used by janky promoters and lazy ass grown men itching for the opportunity to file a lawsuit that they won’t win. I encourage you all to kick back and relax and prepare yourselves for this new wave of music and entertainment I have prepared for you all.”

DaBaby seems to be turning over a new leaf after he had a conversation with Diddy about the recent drama that he was involved in.

The Charlotte native posted a video to Instagram telling his fans how the conversation went. He said he hit Diddy up after he left the studio and Diddy invited him over. When he arrived, Diddy was in the middle of a meeting, but stopped to introduce him to everyone there. Diddy then put DaBaby in a friendly chokehold, which he says he probably deserved.

He then says they went out back and had a grown man conversation. He said that so much knowledge was passed to him from Diddy during that talk and it really opened his eyes. DaBaby now says that he is turning over a new leaf. He thanked Diddy for being a “big brother” to him.
