Two years after the release of Man Of The Woods, Justin Timberlake’s next venture sees him handling executive production duties for the movie Trolls World Tour, of which he also stars alongside Anna Kendrick, James Corden and more. As such, the forthcoming animated release will also boast an impressive soundtrack, which will see big contributions from the likes of Anderson .Paak, George Clinton, Mary J. Blige and Ozzy Osbourne — all of whom also make appearances in the aforementioned film.

Today, fans get to check out a new single from the compilation — the funky tune “The Other Side,” a duet with Timberlake and R&B star SZA. The track seems to pull from the ‘70’s, complete with care-free lyrics about confidence and getting “back on your feet”:

“Hey you, stop stressin’ ‘bout what you’re missin’/

So blue, just take it easy, take your time/

If you think my words are wise, just try it for yourself/

I promise the stars will light the path you walk, don’t give in/

Got a heart of gold, what a shame to go to waste/

The clouds will open up, blue skies are willing…/”

The track also comes with a visual that manages to mix classic disco vibes with different futuristic styles, a perfect match for the Ludwig Göransson and Timberlake production.

Said SZA about the new tune (via Pitchfork):

“I was so thrilled to be invited to participate in this project with Justin… The creative process of working with him and the team was filled with such excitement. It’s an energy you can feel in both the song and music video.”

Fans can check out “The Other Side” below. The full Trolls World Tour soundtrack makes landfall March 13. In related news, SZA also revealed that her official follow-up to the critically acclaimed Ctrl isn’t too far in the distance.
