N.O.R.E. partners with Cherry cannabis brand
The legendary rapper will release his own Superthug OG strain later this month.
N.O.R.E. has announced an exciting new business venture. The rapper and “Drink Champs” co-host is partnering with Colorado cannabis company Cherry to release his own cannabis strand, called Superthug OG.
According to the Cherry website, the company offers high-quality cannabis that is “soil-grown, hand-trimmed and never touched with chemical pesticides or additives.” They also offer CO2-extracted vape oil and seasonal products.
“What Hennessey is to cognac, Cherry is to cannabis. It is the cherry on top of the cake!” N.O.R.E. said in a press release. “Seriously, Cherry is dank — the smoothest, the sweetest, the freshest cannabis money can buy. This flower blows away all the competition. They don’t call it cherry for nothin’. My cannabis brand of choice. I am stoked to be working with the Cherry squad.”
Besides releasing his own special Superthug OG strain, among other products, the Queens native will also serve as the official spokesperson and brand ambassador for the company.
“I will be involved in all aspects of the business from Cherry media shout-outs to product development and of course quality control,” he continued. “I will be taste-tester in chief. The buck and the bud stops right here!”
“N.O.R.E. is a hip hop hero, media mogul and cultural revolutionary,” Cherry co-founder and co-creator Anthony Scotti said in a statement. “No surprise he decided to jump into the cannabis market, the most revolutionary, rapidly growing industry on the planet. And no surprise he chose to work exclusively with Cherry for Superthug OG.”
“We are not only leaders in this fast moving business, we also are the purest craft cannabis brand in the market,” he continued. “N.O.R.E. will be Cherry’s spokesman and brand ambassador, and he also will be involved in developing new products and releasing them into the marketplace. This is truly the beginning of a beautiful relationship.”
