DMX is back on stage performing just months after he checked himself into rehab.

According to TMZ, “DMX hit Hakkasan Las Vegas Nightclub Sunday night where he performed a string of his biggest hits for fans. We’re told he arrived around 2 AM with a small crew — including his new fiancee — and seemed fresh and energetic to mix with the crowd. Our club sources say DMX sipped on water and smoked cigarettes before he hit the stage … and was happy to take photos with fans.”

He performed all of his hits, including “Ruff Ryders’ Anthem,” “Where The Hood At?” and “X Gon’ Give It To Ya.”

He took a moment to stop and thank his fans during the performance. “When you fall down, get back up, everyone here has been through some shit and you never know what God is willing to do for you until you need him to do something for you,” he said.

DMX checked himself into rehab in October, but it wasn’t because of a relapse.

According to TMZ, one of DMX’s kids was very sick with frequent hospital visits. The rapper was afraid that the stress of the situation would tempt him to start using drugs again. As a result, he decided to be proactive and check himself into rehab.

A member of DMX’s team shared the news on his Instagram page. “In his ongoing commitment to putting family and sobriety first, DMX has checked himself into a rehab facility. He apologizes for his canceled shows and thanks to his fans for their continued support,” they wrote.

The Ruff Ryders rapper has reportedly signed a new deal with Def Jam Recordings, XXL reports. Swizz Beatz confirmed the new signing during a recent interview with “The Breakfast Club.” “Just re-signed so it’s gonna be a good year for him, God willing,” he said. “I just want it to happen so he can go to where he been supposed to have went.”
