His court date is set for next May.

Young Buck has been arrested in his home state of Tennessee and he won’t be getting out until at least May.

The Nashville-bred rapper was arrested on Friday (Dec. 20) and is currently being held without bond, due to a felony fugitive from justice warrant. According to Scoop Nashville, the 38-year-old rapper’s next court date is scheduled for May 7, 2020.

Besides being arrested, the Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office has further confirmed that Young Buck also had to spend Christmas in a jail cell. The rapper was arrested before the holidays by the Ashland City Police Department in Tennessee due to a warrant that stems from a charge in Georgia. The underlying warrant charge has not yet been identified.

This isn’t the first time the former G-Unit member has had a brush with the law. In 2016, he was arrested for a probation violation for neglecting a restraining order. Later, in 2017, he was indicted on domestic assault and vandalism charges. His latest arrest story is still developing.

Young Buck has most recently been in the headlines over his beef with 50 Cent. Earlier this year, he dropped two diss track aimed at 50, the latest being his “Foofy Freestyle.”

“Come on, Foofy—this Instagram sh*t done got goofy/Let’s focus on them $2 million that ni**a robbed me/Let’s talk about them bit**es you burnt, them hoes chargin’/You know what I learned? How not to be a father!” he rapped in the song.

The feud appears to stem from 50’s unwillingness to let Young Buck out of his G-Unit contract. 50 demands that Buck pay him $300,000 to get out of the contract and has fueled his own fire to the beef my making fun of Buck’s romantic relationship with a transgender woman.

Since demanding the $300,000, Young Buck fans have actually launched a GoFundMe account in an effort to help Buck raise the money, which would free him from the contract.
