Cardi B is in the spirit of giving this holiday season.

TMZ reports that the “Bodak Yellow” rapper dropped $5,000 on toys for children. The gifts, which included dollhouses and car sets, were placed in a UHAUL truck before heading off to be delivered to the recipients.

The Bronx rapper is no stranger to giving back to her community. Cardi was recently spotted almost buying out a grocery store in Nigeria, where she purchased food, baby supplies and feminine hygiene products for the locals. She uploaded a photo to Instagram expressing her gratitude. She wrote, “Gotta thank the ladies and the gentlemen that nurtured these kids that need just a little bit of more love and protection and gear them up for a better place, destiny and future. People like YALL MATTER !”

Last year, the rapper visited a neighborhood in Brooklyn to donate free winter coats to families in need.

“I want these kids to learn from me that you got to give back to the hood,” she told reporters. “These kids follow me, these kids listen to my music.”

“We’ve gotta set an example for the kids and the future,” Cardi added. “You know, sometimes people think that we just be doing the messed up things, but we really, really, really care for our kids, our community and everything.”

She has become the first female rapper to appear on the cover of Vogue magazine. The shoot was photographed by Annie Leibovitz and features Cardi holding her daughter Kulture.

“The Nanny” star Fran Drescher told Entertainment Tonight that she has been in talks with Cardi’s team about reviving her character, Fran Fine, for a modern spin on the ‘90s sitcom. “That was just kind of laying out groundwork,” Drescher said of the meeting with Cardi’s team. “I do think she’s great, and she would be kinda like my top choice.”
