One gunshot victim of Tekashi 6ix9ine’s gang-related crimes appeared at his sentencing on Wednesday (Dec. 18) to detail the trauma the rapper had caused her. However, another victim, Skyy Daniels, expressed her opinions after court.

“The best thing about the two-year sentence [is] I did not want him to be able to come home for Christmas with his family because you know where I was last year for Christmas? In the hospital,” Daniels told TMZ.

Daniels and her assistant were previously held at gunpoint and robbed by Nine Trey Blood gang members in New York. 6ix9ine reportedly ordered the attack, misidentifying Daniels as a Rap-A-Lot Records associate.

“I was away from my children… my grandchildren… suffering a mental breakdown,” she continued. “So, yes. Justice was served because he will not be able to be home with his family for the holidays.”

During his sentencing, 6ix9ine offered to pay the medical bills for the gunshot victim that spoke. Daniels agreed that the rapper should pay her medical bills and believes she’s entitled to compensation, too.

“He should pay her medical bills and yes he owes me everything because he took everything away from me,” she said. “He owes all of us everything… He needs to be totally financially bankrupt and burdened like he’s done so many other people… This has been very stressful and traumatic for all of us.”

Daniels revealed her PTSD from the incident, explaining that every time she’s seen 6ix9ine’s face in the media she’s suffered flashbacks of the robbery.

“My nightmares come from Tekashi,” she said. “I still need counseling. I haven’t been able to afford it. I’ve suffered financially, mentally, emotionally [and] spiritually. Yes, he deserves to pay all of us.”

The gunshot victim who spoke during the sentencing shared a similar sentiment.

“Everyday I wake up, I have scars on my back. I was out of work,” she stated. “The actions took a lot of me. I still have to go to the doctors. And for him to sit up here. I want to see him apologize. My mother could have lost her daughter.”

6ix9ine was sentenced on Wednesday (Dec. 18) in his racketeering case. He will serve less than another year in prison, pay a $35,000 fine and have to complete 300 hours of community service.
