Azriel Clary, one of R. Kelly’s girlfriends, has moved out of her shared Trump Tower condo with Kelly’s other girlfriend, Joycelyn Savage. On Saturday (Dec. 7), TMZ reported that Clary moved into her own residence in Chicago and wants to distance herself from Kelly’s legal drama.

The news arrives after Savage addressed allegations that a Patreon account owner made against Kelly, pretending to be her. Savage denied all claims of abuse, which included choking, starvation and forced at-home abortions, and insisted that she and Clary still support Kelly and visit him in jail frequently.

“It has been said that I have left him, and he has abused me and all kind of nonsense,” Joycelyn said in a video published by TMZ. “I have said before, none of it is true… I am not going to be a part of the assassination of R. Kelly’s name, music career or character.”

“I promise you, he is not the person you guys think he is. He is the best thing that’s ever happened to me and Azriel [Clary],” she continued. “I talk to him everyday and see him every two weeks.”

According to TMZ, Clary does still support the R&B singer, but she’s had enough of the media attention and Kelly’s legal saga. The outlet also reported that Clary is making her own money to support herself through television and modeling gigs and is currently focusing on her singing and acting career.

The 21 year old has also started a Twitter and YouTube channel. On Twitter, she announced she’ll be uploading weekly YouTube vlogs, titled “On The Run With Azriel.”

“Everyone’s asking me what #ontherunwithazriel means,” Clary tweeted on Dec. 2. “I’m a very private person.. so it’s basically me being vulnerable and opening up my world so you guys can see and be a part of it, and what I go through and I how I deal with it as a young woman.”

So far, Clary has used her Twitter to speak in support of Kelly.

“I must say celebrating my first holiday without Robert has been a terrible feeling that I would not wish on anyone,” she tweeted on Thanksgiving. “Whether you despise him or love him I am not just any girlfriend of his, and I refuse to do any and every interview for a check.”

“I have integrity and when I do speak it will be on a great platform that can humanize him,” she wrote in a second tweet. “I want to make the situation better not worse, and rushing to speak just to appease everyone else is not a how I want to portray him. Patience is key guys.”

Clary’s Twitter followers seem to mostly be Kelly sympathizers. She’s also working on bringing her Instagram back, since it’s been deactivated, so she can communicate with fans there as well.
