It seems Kanye West operas may become a regular occurrence. Following up his Nebuchadnezzar performance at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles last month, ‘Ye will bring his next religious-themed opera, titled Mary, to the Miami Marine Stadium this Sunday (Dec. 8), the last day of Miami’s Art Basel fair.

Directed by Vanessa Beecroft, who lead ‘Ye’s first installment, Nebuchadnezzar, the opera will once again offer music from Kanye’s Sunday Service. The Jesus Is King rapper posted the announcement to Twitter on Thursday (Dec. 5) with a link to event tickets, which are going for $200.

The tweeted photo includes limited information about the opera and the Luke 1:30 bible verse.

Kanye’s Nebuchadnezzar opera centered around a Babylonian king and his “transition from wicked, imperious, self-declared ruler to a true believer who finds salvation in his faith.” The performance starred Sheck Wes as King Nebuchadnezzar and Kanye as the story’s narrator.

The news of the opera arrives after TMZ reported that Kanye and famed televangelist Joel Osteen will reunite for the “America’s Night of Hope” sermon at the Yankee Stadium in New York. Osteen and ‘Ye previously teamed up at Osteen’s mega Lakewood Church in Houston, TX. “America’s Night of Hope” will reportedly mirror their first event together, with Osteen hosting a sermon and Kanye and his Sunday Service choir providing a social performance.

TMZ also reports that the event will be held on May 2, 2020, possibly as a tour stop on Kanye’s upcoming Jesus Is King tour. The installment will mark Osteen’s third time bringing “America’s Night of Hope” to Yankee stadium, but his first time with Kanye.

Door for Kanye’s Mary opera will open at 1:30 p.m. with the show beginning at 3 p.m. local time. Information about the event also includes that ride-sharing to the opera is preferred, due to limited parking.
