The parents of Joycelyn Savage, one of R. Kelly’s girlfriends, has issued a cease-and-desist letter to blogger Tasha K.

According to TMZ, in the letter, Joycelyn’s parents, Timothy and Jonjelyn Savage, have accused Tasha K of using her platform to “make a series of unwarranted and defamatory attacks against them.” The Savages claim that the attacks include allegations of drug use and creating social media accounts to profit off of their daughter.

The letter, which is dated Nov. 27, says that the examples of defamation are included, but not limited to: “allegations of drug abuse, allegations of creating a social media account to profit off of Joycelyn Savage’s likeness and images, allegations of possession of a black box full of audio recordings, releasing clips of edited recorded statements, and alleging that the Savages appeared on ‘Good Morning America’ in New York, New York.”

Meanwhile, Tasha K has accused the Savages of creating a Patreon account that was supposedly owned by their daughter Joycelyn. The account the blogger is referring to was promoted on Joycelyn’s unverified Instagram page last week. The posts revealed that Joycelyn was going to share information about her relationship with Kelly over the past few years.

“There’s something I need to reveal, something I’ve [sic] should’ve talked about a long time ago,” Joycelyn’s alleged Instagram post said. “This is my story.” The caption read, “I have Partnered up with @Patreon where I will post daily chapters of my story. Things I am going to reveal that was sweared not to see the day of light — by NDA. I am risking my life for many others. This story is 18+ and only for mature audience, I want to make sure my story is very detailed as I can remember.”

Patreon has removed the account, claiming that they were not able to successfully verify the owner.

“After multiple unsuccessful attempts to verify the identity of the account holder, we closed the Patreon page allegedly associated with Joycelyn Savage due to potential impersonation,” the company said. “All patrons who signed up for the membership page were refunded and the creator did not receive any funds.”
