Drake may have been met with an unenthused crowd as this year’s surprise Camp Flog Gnaw headliner, but the rap mogul made sure he got the last word.

Performing on Sunday (Nov. 10), Drizzy appeared as the surprise finishing act for Tyler, the Creator’s Los Angeles festival. Despite being one of hip hop’s most successful recording artists, Drake was met with boos as the crowd had hoped that Frank Ocean would fill the surprise headliner spot.

Drake seemingly didn’t take the critique too hard, as he told the audience “It’s been love” before leaving the stage. In a new Instagram post, the 6 God is clearly still in good spirits.

“Plot twist…just signed a 10 year residency at Camp Flog Gnaw,” Drake joked on Monday (Nov. 11). “Sorry kids see you EVERY SINGLE YEAR till you are 30.”

The new post follows Tyler’s address toward fans on Twitter. The IGOR rapper was not too happy with how his audience treated Drake.

“I THOUGHT BRINGING ONE OF THE BIGGEST ARTIST ON THE FU**ING PLANET TO A MUSIC FESTIVAL WAS FIRE!” he wrote on Monday (Nov. 11). “BUT FLIPSIDE, A LIL TONE DEAF KNOWING THE SPECIFIC CROWD IT DREW. SOME CREATED A NARRATIVE IN THEIR HEAD AND ACTED OUT LIKE AS*HOLES WHEN IT DIDNT COME TRUE AND I DONT FU*K WITH THAT.”

“THIS N*GGA DID FEEL NO WAYS!” Tyler continued. “SONG IS BEAUTIFUL. ALSO, MOSTLY EVERYONE WAS HAVING A GREAT TIME, THOSE SH*TS IN THE FRONT AREA WERE THE ONES BEING MAD RUDE, WHICH, I CAN SEE WHY, BUT, NAH, FU*K THAT, YALL REPRESENTED ME AND FLOG TO MY GUEST AND MADE US LOOK SOOO ENTITLED AND TRASH.”

Tyler concluded his Twitter rant by thanking Drake for performing and seemed to confirm that Drake’s set was cut short.

“AGAIN, THANK YOU DRAKE! ( IM FU*KING PISSED HOTLINE BLING WAS NEXT THATS MY FU*KING SH*T IM GONNA PLAY THAT IN THE SHOWER RIGHT NOW),” the Odd Future head tweeted.

Besides Tyler and Drake, Solange, DaBaby, 21 Savage, Juice WRLD and many others performed at the star-studded two-day annual festival.
