Eminem’s career has suffered several leaks over the years, but this latest one has the internet in a flurry. Last week, a snippet with a diss line, seemingly aimed at Rihanna, surfaced on social media. Now, Eminem’s unreleased verse has become available to listen in full and finds Slim Shady joking crudely at Rihanna’s expense and endorsing Chris Brown’s attack on his then-girlfriend.

On Monday (Nov. 11) morning, the reference track for Eminem’s “Things Get Worse” leaked online.

“I’m not playing Rihanna where’d you get the V.D. at?” Em raps, later adding, “Let me add my two cents/ Of course I side with Chris Brown/ I’d beat a b**ch down, too/ If she gave my dick an itch, now.”

Brown pleaded guilty to felony assault in 2009 for attacking Rihanna and was subsequently sentenced to five years of probation and six months of community service.

According to HipHopDX, the leaked verse was scrapped from Eminem’s initial 2009 Relapse recordings. However, a revised version of the line did make it onto B.o.B.’s 2011 track of the same title, omitting both the Chris Brown and Rihanna mentions.

In a statement released to XXL, Eminem’s spokesperson, Dennis Dennehy, insisted that the verse is old and does not acccureatly portray Em and Rihanna’s current relationship.

“This is a leak of something that’s over 10 years old,” he said in the statement. “After Eminem recorded it, he scrapped it, and rewrote it. Obviously he and Rihanna have a great relationship.”

Over the past decade, Eminem and RiRi have collaborated on multiple songs, including “Love The Way You Lie,” “Numb” and “The Monster.” The two artists also toured together in 2014.

This new leak follows a previously unearthed alleged Joyner Lucas and Eminem collaboration, reportedly title “What If I Was Gay?” The snippet, which surfaced online Oct. 30, finds Em and Joyner rapping about homophobia and gay stigmas.
