Kodak Black’s DJ is weighing in on the rapper’s recent prison fight.

As previously reported, Kodak was reportedly involved in a prison fight, which left one guard hospitalized. Local Miami news station, WPLG Local 10, reported that the fight transpired between two inmates at the Federal Detention Center, where Kodak is currently being detained.

The outlet reports that Kodak got into a physical altercation with another inmate and kicked the guard in the groin, as he was trying to break up the fight. The guard was taken to the hospital where he underwent surgery. His condition is unknown.

Kodak’s DJ, DJ Showtime, took to Twitter on Friday (Nov. 1) and shared his skepticism about the alleged incident. “Y’all know I always keep quiet about Kodak situation, but I’m say this and walk off!” he tweeted. “It’s just crazy how Kodak been in the FEDS cooling and staying out the way, but 2weeks until his court date he get into prison brawl!”

He then said on Instagram, “Now I’m not the smartest man in the world, but I can added up bullsh-t in a minute. For Kodak to take that type of risk, y’all had to been f—king with my lil n—a! Y’all steady trying to find ways to f—k my lil soulja over, but you can’t stop what God have plan.. Free #KungFuKodak.”

Kodak has been behind bars since May when he was taken into custody on federal firearms charges. He pleaded to the charges in August. Shortly after, he released a statement via Instagram. “4 Months Ago I Was Jus Facetiming Da Baddest Females On Planet Earth , Na Im Makin Jail Calls Waitin On Mail Call,” Kodak wrote at the time. “Ya Sometime I Come Off A Lil Arrogant But You`ll Be Too If You Was Young & Rich Comin Up Out Da Projects , Shiddd I Walked Out A Juvenile Detention Center To Millions Of Dollars #IMAGINEDAT ..
