Teyana Taylor and Kehlani get close in “Morning” video

Watch the R&B queens’ steamy new clip.

Teyana Taylor returns with a steamy new video in support of her upcoming album. Last month, the singer/ director revealed she’d be releasing her next LP, the follow-up to 2018’s K.T.S.E., on Dec. 6. Taylor hadn’t given a name to the upcoming project until now. Friday (Nov. 1), Hip Hop-n-More reported that the upcoming project will be titled, The Album. With her record officially named, Taylor released a sensual new clip, featuring Kehlani, introducing the duo’s new single, “Morning.”

The visual, which Taylor produced, finds the singer draped in red silk sheets, lounging in a hot tub and getting hands-y with her collaborator, Kehlani. Fans immediately began freaking out over the steamy new clip, with Twitter users saying just watching the video got them “pregnant.”

Kehlani, who dropped off her While We Wait mixtape earlier this year, shared a sweet message to Taylor on Twitter.

“Just wanna thank teyana for having me!” she wrote on Friday (Nov.1). “Came to the studio to a fire song she already had the vision for the video. she was an incredible director. she knew what she wanted it was inspiring to watch a peer & friend so in their element!”

Taylor has directed several of her music videos, even premiering her “Hottieween” web series earlier this week. Starring Megan Thee Stallion as a private investigator, the series has currently aired three episodes, “Love Bites,” “Suck A Neck” and “Hot Girl Sh*t.”

With The Album arriving next month, “Morning” serves as the second offering from the project, following “How You Want It” featuring King Combs. The Album will be released through Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music, following last year’s K.T.S.E., which Kanye produced.

Kehlani has dropped off a handful of singles since releasing her While We Wait mixtape, including the Zedd-assisted “Good Thing” and “Change” featuring Arin Ray. Her second studio album, the follow-up to 2017’s SweetSexySavage, is expected to drop by the end of this year.
