Kanye West is ready to hit the road with ‘Jesus Is King’

  /  10.26.2019

Kanye West has finally released his Jesus Is King album, and the Chicago rapper says he’s ready to hit the road “right away.” TMZ caught up with ‘Ye and Kim Kardashian on Friday (Oct. 25) just hours after the new record dropped, and that is when Kanye revealed his plans for a tour. “It’s coming,” he told a cameraman for the outlet.

Kanye was also asked if the forthcoming tour would have a floating stage similar to his “Saint Pablo Tour.” ‘Ye replied, “It will be something different.”

On another note, TMZ has reported that Kanye will not be making an about-face after releasing his gospel-rap album. Sources close to the rapper said that he is 100 percent serious when he declares that he will never perform his old hits in its’ original form. The outlet went on to say that Kanye is adamant about his newfound faith and will continue to “create the music HE wants.”

Kanye dropped Jesus Is King on Friday (Oct. 25). The record features 11 songs and runs about 27 minutes long. Sources have also said that ‘Ye is not concerned about the “below-average” reviews he has garnered about the album. The rapper is “making music for God and is a changed man.”

While Kanye says he will not be performing his old music in its’ original form, fans can reportedly expect to hear “familiar beats and rhymes, but with altered and more ‘G’ rated lyrics.”

In other news, according to Rap-Up, Kanye will bring his Jesus Is King Sunday Service experience to The Forum in Los Angeles on Sunday (Oct. 27). Tickets go on sale to the general public today (Oct. 26) at 10 a.m. PT. The proceeds from the tickets sales will be donated to charity.

Kanye will also perform on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” tonight (Oct. 26). This will be his first performance since the album’s release.
