DaBaby brightened a fan’s day following a recent meet-and-greet. According to Complex, after his performance at Clark Atlanta University, the Charlotte rapper was introduced to a mother named Amanda, who said she waited three hours to meet the rapper at his event. The mother also said that she had previously contacted DaBaby in hopes of selling him some hats that she made to help provide for her small son.

In a video that DaBaby posted on his Instagram, Amanda told him “It took a lot for me to come here,” as she pulled her hats out of her bag. The rapper then pulled out a wad of cash and peeled off $1,000 to give the mother, who was living in her car with her child. DaBaby told Amanda to keep the hats and sell them to someone else. The mother burst into tears and expressed her gratitude before taking a picture with the rapper and her toddler.

DaBaby has been displaying his generosity in various cities, as he has been making college tour stops to perform. During his stop in Washington, D.C. last weekend, the “iPHONE” rapper was approached by a group of children, who were selling Girl Scout cookies. DaBaby asked the kids how much it would cost for him to purchase all of the cookies. After calculating that the cookies would cost about $230, he gave the kids $300, then told them that they could keep the cookies.

On another note, DaBaby recently announced the dates for his upcoming “KIRK” tour, which will be in support of his debut album, which shares the same title as the tour. The tour, which will feature Stunna 4 Vegas, will kick off on Nov. 16 in Minneapolis and will make stops in Denver, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles before wrapping up in Dallas on Dec. 21.
