During a recent interview with The Root, which was published on Wednesday (Oct. 9), T.I. got candid when asked about his business relationship with rapper Iggy Azalea.

“I’m still actively looking for another female rapper who can undo the blunder of Iggy Azalea,” Tip said during the interview with The Root. “That is the tarnish of my legacy as far as [being] a [music] executive is concerned. To me, this is like when Michael Jordan went to play baseball.”

Although T.I. isn’t fond of his former Grand Hustle signee, the ATL spitter is still hopeful about other female rappers. “There’s a lot of dope female talent right now in the industry. There’s a lot of dope female talent out there trying to get in the industry,” he explained. “So I think [the show is] a fair representation.”

Right now, T.I. serves as a judge on Netflix’s new series, “Rhythm + Flow,” alongside Cardi B and Chance The Rapper. The three spitters travel to several cities in hopes of finding hip hop’s next superstar. “I’m looking for somebody that when I’m going to my car I’m gonna remember their music, I’m gonna remember their face, I’m gonna remember their personality. We wanna find you, we wanna discover you,” Cardi said in a video uploaded to social media.

In addition to his latest TV show, T.I. has also seen a ton of success from his new podcast, ExpediTIously. For his latest venture, Tip discusses social issues, relationships and more in a judgment-free zone.

“We talk about any and everything,” T.I. said during a conversation with Billboard. “And I tried to create an environment where people could speak and express themselves freely, fully, authentically, and unapologetically. We have created a space where you can speak your truth without judgment.”
