Travis Scott just took home a major win.

At the 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards, which was held at Atlanta’s Cobb Energy Center on Oct. 5, Scott’s Astroworld won Album of the Year. In that category, Scott beat out stiff competition including Meek Mill (Championships), Lizzo (Cuz I Love You), DJ Khaled (Father of Asahd), Tyler, The Creator (Igor), and Dreamvilee (Revenge of the Dreamers 3).

Ultimately, Scott’s win feels like a long time coming. Back in August, Scott debuted his Netflix documentary, Look Mom I Can Fly, in which he highlighted the creative process behind his LP. At one point during the film, Scott showed his reaction to losing Album of the Year at the Grammys.

“Travis got robbed of a Grammy Astroworld was easily AOTY #LookMomICanFly,” one fan wrote on Twitter. “This Travis Netflix doc has reignited my anger that Cardi B won a Grammy over Astroworld. To this day I still haven’t played that Cardi B album,” another fan tweeted.

On the music front, Scott announced his plans to host his second annual Astroworld Festival. The event will take place in Scott’s hometown on Nov. 9. The “SICKO MODE” rapper has been announced as the first headliner and will reveal other acts at a later time.

This past weekend, Travis Scott addressed cheating rumors following his split with Kylie Jenner. The Houston native reiterated that their one-year-old daughter, Stormi Webster, is the priority. “It’s really affecting when u see false things said about u once again these false stories about me cheating are just simply not true.”

While posting to Twitter, the reality star shared a similar message. “Travis and I are on great terms and our main focus right now is Stormi. Our friendship and our daughter is priority,” she wrote.

Congrats on the Album of the Year win, Travis Scott!
