6ix9ine will learn his fate sooner than later.

According to XXL, the rainbow-haired rapper’s sentencing date has been moved up to Dec. 18 at 10 a.m. EST. The date was originally set for Jan. 24, 2020. The rapper’s legal team was able to expedite the request. “Counsel for Mr. Hernandez respectfully requests that sentencing be scheduled on an expedited basis,” the document states. “The Government does not object to this request.”

Initially, 6ix9ine was facing 47 years in prison for racketeering and other charges. The 23-year-old, born Daniel Hernandez, agreed to a plea deal agreement in which he testified against his former associates, Anthony “Harv” Ellison and Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack.

More recently, Judge Matthew Russell Lee ruled that Ellison was guilty of 6ix9ine’s “kidnapping in aid of racketeering…racketeering conspiracy and maiming and assault with a dangerous weapon in aid of racketeering,” TMZ reports. As for Mack, he was not found guilty of kidnapping, but guilty of “racketeering conspiracy and narcotics trafficking.”

During the trial, 6ix9ine took the witness stand for three days in which he recalled pleading for his life with Ellison on the day of the kidnapping. “I’m pleading with Harv,” 6ix9ine said in the courtroom on Wednesday (Sept. 18). “I’m telling him, ‘Don’t shoot. I gave you everything. I put money in your pocket.’ I told him that I was tired of being extorted.”

When 6ix9ine is released, the Dummy Boy rapper is not seeking witness protection. The rapper believes having security by his side 24/7 will keep him out of harm’s way. As his trial unfolded in the media, many have shared their opinions on the case. Moving forward, many people want to keep the conversation going.

In the last few weeks, Snapchat and 50 Cent have revealed their own plans to release projects centered around 6ix9ine’s rise and fall to fame.
