Now that his legal troubles are a thing of the past, A$AP Rocky continues to look to the future.

During an interview with Vogue, Rocky hinted that his new music will address his Swedish jail stories. ”Right now I am working on, I would say, something that is highly anticipated because a lot of people want to know how I am feeling about the whole situation.”

He continued, “Making music is fun. It’s always fun. In a way, it’s a parallel with fashion because I think the right key, the right silhouette, the right look—the right expression—can trigger an emotional connection: sometimes a nostalgic connection and sometimes an enticing connection with people.”

In the past, the “Fashion Killa” rapper hasn’t spoken in-depth about his assault conviction. After being released from prison this summer, Rocky explained that he was disappointed by the judge’s verdict.

“I AM OF COURSE DISAPPOINTED BY TODAY’S VERDICT,” he began. “I WANT TO SAY THANKS AGAIN TO ALL OF MY FANS, FRIENDS, AND EVERYONE WHO SHOWED ME LOVE DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME. IMMA KEEP MOVING FORWARD. THANK YOU TO MY TEAM, MY MANAGEMENT, ATTORNEYS, LABEL AND EVERYONE WHO ADVOCATED FOR JUSTICE.”

Following his release from Swedish prison, Rocky performed at the 2019 Real Street Festival. While taking the stage, Rocky thanked his fans for their endless support.

“I just want to say, what I experienced it’s crazy,” Rocky said to the crowd. “I’m so happy to be here y’all don’t even understand. That was a scary humbling experience God is good. People that I don’t even f–king know was reaching out. Hip hop never felt so good man.”

Speaking on new music, more recently, the 31-year-old released his latest visual, “Babushka Boi.” In a short amount of time, the video has garnered over 12 million views.
