DaBaby’s recent concert in New Orleans got a little out of hand Saturday night (Sept. 28). According to TMZ, a fan of the rapper was punched by his security. DaBaby was performing at the Free Water Block Party and 30 minutes into his set, he jumped into the crowd. Apparently, the crowd got a bit rowdy and riled up, which was too much for his security’s liking. A female fan then ran over to the Charlotte-rapper in an attempt to get a photo. He pushed the female fan off of him and when she persisted, DaBaby’s security intervened and punched the fan, who ended up falling to the floor.
The woman lost consciousness momentarily before her friends were able to come to her aid and get her out of the venue. The show was shut down following the incident, but the police were not called.
Last week, DaBaby was seen punching a fan who tried to grab his chain. According to TMZ, the incident took place during the “Suge” rapper’s performance at the Prime Festival in Lansing, Michigan on Sept. 20. A fan reached for his chain, seemingly to take it off of his neck. In a video clip that was obtained by TMZ, DaBaby is seen punching the fan once he makes contact with the chain. The rapper moved back towards the stage to possibly avoid any other incidents.
On a positive note, DaBaby released his debut album “Kirk” on Friday (Sept. 27). He announced the record on social media prior to its’ release. “Times up. #KIRK THIS FRIDAY. The album has 13 songs and features collabs with some of hip hop’s big names including, Migos, Nicki Minaj, Gucci Mane, Chance The Rapper, Moneybagg Yo, Lil Baby, Stunna 4 Vegas, YK Osiris and Kevin Gates.
