As 6ix9ine’s trial comes to an end, new details are being revealed.

On Thursday (Sept. 26), Inner City Press reporter, Russell Lee, described an audio conversation between Shotti and 6ix9ine. The audio was recorded by 6ix9ine’s former driver, Jorge Rivera, who also worked as an informant for the government after being arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

In the recording, Shotti reportedly confesses to shooting five people in one night for Jamel “Mel Murda” Jones, who is a member of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods. “Now US Attorney is playing audio that driver Jorge Rivera, cooperating with government after picked up on immigration charges, recorded of Shotti telling #6ix9ine, we got to kill somebody, I drive around with a semi-automatic rifle,” Lee tweeted. “In the recording (by Jorge Rivera), Shotti says he shot five people in one night for Mel Murda. Shotti: ‘I earned my stripes.’”

During the trial’s rollout, the use of audio has become a common theme. During a conversation between Mel Murda and Shotti, 6ix9ine’s former manager states that he will shoot the rainbow-haired rapper. “[6ix9ine] is trying to dry snitch at the same time, homie,” Mel Murda said. “But he keep saying, ‘F–k Treyway, F–k that n–a, Treyway. Ain’t no n—a, Treyway. F–k Treyway.’” Shortly after, Shotti replies. “I’ma feed him though,” he said while laughing.

In addition to that, a phone call between Jim Jones and Mel Murda leaked online in which Jones suggests that 6ix9ine to be violated. “He not a gang member no more,” Jones said. “He was never a gang member. They going to have to violate shorty because shorty is on some bulls–t.”

More recently, Snapchat announced that they are launching a docuseries centered around 6ix9ine’s highly-publicized trial. On the upcoming series, guest appearances will be made by Ebro Darden, Tory Lanez and more.
