Can fans expect a baby Rih after all?

According to The Blast, the rumor mill has been buzzing that Rihanna just might be pregnant. In fact, those working closely with her have allegedly been whispering about her rumored pregnancy. The outlet reports that Rihanna secretly filmed a video within the last couple of weeks. The video shoot was highly confidential, but sources who were on the set “definitely believe” the pregnancy rumors.

There are no confirmations, but people are claiming that the signs are there.

Rihanna sparked rumors while on the red carpet of her Diamond Ball gala earlier this month. During an interview with Essence magazine, Rihanna made a reference to giving birth. “I’m a black woman. I come from a black woman who came from a black woman who came from a black woman and I’m gonna give birth to a black woman,” she said.

Shortly after the rumors began to circulate following her red carpet interview, TMZ dispelled the claims saying that Rihanna is not pregnant.

Regardless of the murmurs about Rihanna’s personal life, she isn’t letting up on the career front. She recently signed a publishing deal with Sony Music. Billboard revealed that she signed a worldwide publishing deal with Sony/ATV Music. The agreement includes her Hot 100 Top 10 singles including “Rude Boy” and “Work,” which features Drake, and more.

Sony/ATV’s chairman, Jon Platt, shared his excitement over the deal. “I’m proud to have known Rihanna since the beginning of her career,” he said. “Music, fashion, philanthropy and a heart of gold have solidified Rihanna’s position as one of the biggest icons in the world. It is an honor to be reunited with her at Sony/ATV.”

The verdict is still out on when fans can expect Rihanna’s next album, but she says it is currently in the works.
