6ix9ine has faced much criticism over his decision to cooperate with prosecutors in his federal racketeering case. However, despite the jabs taken on social media, T.I. doesn’t think 6ix9ine will have any problems once he is released from prison.
In an interview with Big Boy’s Neighborhood, T.I. weighed on the rapper’s three-day testimony and said that he thinks the rapper’s sentence will be reduced dramatically. He also claimed that 6ix9ine will be able to go “back to the hood” after “snitching.” “It’s a bunch of rats walking ’round right now. And that’s the thing that really hurts. That’s what really hurt my feelings,” Tip said.
“They riding ‘round with somebody they know done told in they hood right now, because, ‘Well, he didn’t tell on me.’ This cat can come home and throw parties and the parties be popping. It be full,” T.I. continued. “If motherf—kers don’t f—k with rats, how the hell is this party so packed? And everybody know how cous’ came home. Everybody know what happened.”
As previously reported, 6ix9ine has testified against his former Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods associates Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack and Anthony “Harv” Ellison. He also identified Cardi B, Jim Jones, Casanova, and Trippie Redd as gang members.
T.I. also said he wasn’t surprised that Tekashi is cooperating with prosecutors. “I knew he wasn’t going to do no long periods of time in no RICO case,” he said. “I didn’t know it was going to happen as soon as it did. I thought it was gonna have a longer run. I thought the run would have been longer. I didn’t know that it would come to such an abrupt halt.”
Tekashi took the stand last week as part of his plea deal with prosecutors. He is expected to receive a reduced sentence for his cooperation.
