UPDATE: “Atlantic Records denies to Billboard 6ix9ine’s claims that Cardi B was a member of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods,” Billboard reports.

Original story:

After citing Jim Jones as an alleged member of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, 6ix9ine is also claiming that Cardi B is affiliated as well.

According to Page Six, The “FEFE” rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, stated that the Invasion of Privacy spitter is a gang member. The 23-year-old denied copying her blueprint for success by including members in his music videos. “I knew who she was. I didn’t pay attention,” 6ix9ine said in the courtroom.

Last year, Cardi admitted that she had connections to Bloods and Brims, although she encouraged young girls to follow in a different path. “When I was 16 years old, I used to hang out with a lot of Bloods,” she said. “I used to pop off with my homies. And they’d say, ‘Yo, you really get it poppin’. You should come home. You should turn Blood.’ And I did. Yes, I did.”

She continued, “People always be like, ‘Oh, Cardi never used to rep it when she wasn’t making music.’ Yeah, because I already got signed. I can do that now. I’m smarter than what people think. There’s so many things that I limited myself because I wanted a million-dollar contract. When I do interviews, I don’t talk about it, because I will lose my endorsements. But since the cat is out of the bag, that’s how I feel. Why? For what? Why would you join a gang?”

So far, 6ix9ine has confessed to ordering a hit on Chief Keef, detailed the shooting that took place at Barclays Center in New York City and more. With this plea deal in place, the Dummy Boy musician might walk free for cooperating in the racketeering trial. 6ix9ine is facing a minimum of 47 years in prison.
