As the saying goes, if at first you don’t succeed, try again.

On Thursday (Sept. 19), Madame Tussaud’s Instagram announced that a new Beyoncé wax figure has been made, which pays homage to her iconic 2018 Coachella performance. The wax figure features Bey’s yellow hoodie, denim shirts, sassy boots and long blonde-tresses. “It’s time to bow down to THE QUEEN,” the Instagram caption reads.

In the past, the museum took a whack at Beyoncé wax figures that didn’t resemble her too much. After seeing the improvement, the Beyhive couldn’t help but share their excitement. “This is the first Beyoncé wax figure i’ve seen that actually looks like her. congrats, took the world 45 tries,” one fan wrote. Another added, “Me finding out @beyonce wax figure is standing next to Princess Meghan!!!!! Two respected and powerful women standing together!!! Two Queens!!! They make America proud….I could cry.”

As briefly mentioned in the fan’s tweet, Beyoncé’s wax figure will stand alongside the British royal family — taking the Queen’s place, of course. According to their website, “the only fitting way to laud official music royalty is to position her on the most regal of all stages alongside her Royal pals, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.”

General manager, Steve Davies, stated that it’s an honor to debut Beyoncé’s wax figure. “Beyoncé is a living legend, rightly crowned Queen Bey by her legions of fans and industry insiders. If anyone is fitting of a claim to The Queen’s spot in our attraction for the very first time, it’s Beyoncé.”

In other Queen Bey-related news, she recently released an ABC special entitled Making The Gift. The documentary shed light on the 38-year-old’s creative process while making her Lion King-inspired soundtrack.
