One decade later, and the beef between Kanye West and Taylor Swift is still a conversation.

For Rolling Stone’s October 2019 cover story, the Reputation singer spoke in-detail regarding her issues with Kanye West. Swift explained that ‘Ye tried to take her out of character by referencing her on his “Famous” track. The 29-year-old singer admitted that ‘Ye has a history of two-faced behavior, so much so, she referenced ‘Ye’s beef with Drake.

“So when he gets on the phone with me, and I was so touched that he would be respectful and, like, tell me about this one line in the song,” she said. “And then when I heard the song, I was like, ‘I’m done with this. If you want to be on bad terms, let’s be on bad terms, but just be real about it.’ And then he literally did the same thing to Drake.”

She continued, “He gravely affected the trajectory of Drake’s family and their lives. It’s the same thing. Getting close to you, earning your trust, detonating you. I really don’t want to talk about it anymore because I get worked up, and I don’t want to just talk about negative shit all day, but it’s the same thing. Go watch Drake talk about what happened.”

As you might recall, Drake discussed his beef with Kanye West on LeBron James’ HBO show , The Shop, last year. During his conversation, the Toronto rapper explained that ‘Ye knew about his son and album release date, which Pusha T was able to use as ammo in their well-known disagreement.

“So I played him my music and I told him when I was dropping,” Drake recalled when speaking on ‘Ye. “I was 60 percent done with Scorpion. He told me he was just working on some beats and he wasn’t dropping until October. While I was in Wyoming I played him ‘March 14th’ and even sent him a picture of my son, I tell him I’m having trouble with my son’s mother. We had a conversation.”
