Ja Rule has an ambitious endeavor.

While posting to Twitter on Monday (Sept. 16), the 43-year-old rapper announced his plans to re-release all of his LPs as visual albums. For every song that he has made, Ja Rule will shoot a music video, however, this doesn’t include tracks that already have a visual. In addition to that, Ja will be releasing his new album, 12.Twelve.XII, on Dec. 12.

”I will be rereleasing ALL of my albums as visual albums… I will be making a video for every song I’ve ever made… what songs do y’all wanna see videos for,” he wrote.

Elsewhere, Ja revealed that he would shoot “over 40” new music videos. Following his announcement, fans chimed in with suggestions as to which songs deserve visuals.

“Ja Rule is planning to re-release all his records as visual albums! He’s on fire (no pun relating to previous mistakes intended),” one fan wrote. Another fan added, “Ja Rule might be on to something about this visual album for all his music. Low key want more veterans to do this.”

Earlier this year, the New York rapper briefly addressed his involvement in the Fyre Festival fiasco. Back in July, Ja was cleared of his 2017 lawsuit pertaining to the festival. Southern District Judge of New York, Judge Kevin Castel, and the event’s Chief Marketing Officer, Grant Margolin, ruled that Ja was unaware of what the festival would become.

“(Ja Rule) and Margolin were participants in organizing or promoting a large-scale event,” Castel said. “There is no assertion that the Festival when first conceived or introduced to the public was intended not to go forward or that defendants intended not to perform by organizing the advertised amenities and accommodation.”

“It’s heartbreaking to me,” Ja Rule said. “It was something that I really, really wanted to be special and amazing and it just didn’t turn out that way.”
