The wait is almost over.

While speaking with radio host Ebro Darden, City Girls’ Yung Miami revealed that JT will be released from prison later this month. In addition to that, the two will be dropping an album that is expected to drop next year. “J.T. coming home this month,” Yung Miami said. “When she come home we’ll work on another album that we’re gonna drop probably for Spring Break. She gotta come home. We gotta record.”

For anyone that was keeping track, the timeline is surely adding up. Back in June, Quality Control’s co-founder, Pierre “Pee” Thomas, confirmed that JT would be released within 90 days. “JT will be home within the next 90 days,” Pee said to radio personality, Supa Cindy, during their interview.

Back in July of 2018, JT turned herself into Florida’s Federal Correctional Institution for fraudulent charges. Four months ago, JT filed to be released to a halfway house, which would’ve allowed the City Girls member to serve the rest of her sentence outside of jail. Sadly, her request was denied by a judge.

Following JT’s arrest, Miami has been doing her best to keep things afloat for the group, which includes damage control. Last month, an old diss record recorded by JT surfaced online in which the rapper took jabs at Cardi B, Nicki Minaj and more. In an effort to defend her counterpart, Miami explained that the record wasn’t meant to be taken seriously.

“We were playing around, just freestyling on a beat,” she said during an Instagram Live session. “We never thought nobody was going to hear that s–t. We never thought we were going to be signed. We never thought none of that. We was just playing around.” She continued, “I’m so aggravated y’all. Y’all is just aggravating as f–k. Y’all wanna end the City Girls so bad, but that ain’t gonna happen.”

Who is looking forward to JT’s release later this month?
