A letter from our editor…

Hey, REVOLT fam! By now, you’ve noticed that our site had a major makeover – yeah, we know. We look fly, huh?

So, let me officially present to you the brand new REVOLT.tv! With this new digital space powered by Chorus by Vox Media, we will continue to elevate our game of bringing you the best and hottest news in hip hop culture, copping exclusive interviews from the biggest stars, highlighting our hit TV shows such as “State of the Culture,” “Drink Champs,” “The Breakfast Club” and more; and featuring our one-of-a-kind digital series’ like “On Clout 9,” “Cooking Up w/Timbaland,” “Strings Attached” and many others.

Yessir! That “Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop” mentality is in full effect and thanks to the amazing new tools that our new site has, showing our digital hustle will be even more effortless. Let’s break down the new layout, shall we?

As much as we loved our old layout for REVOLT.tv, this improved one definitely catches the eye much quicker. Going on the homepage, you’ll immediately see the highlighted stories/videos of the day in the new marquee that will give you no choice but to click. As you scroll down, that’s where you’ll see a cleaner list of news stories and other items of the site in order of when they were published. For those journalism peeps like myself, you’ll also notice that the site finally has a “News” section, as well, where you can catch up on the latest breaking stories.

We also have an “Interest” section where you’ll be able to find all of the usual columns that you know and love REVOLT.tv for, as well as listicles and op-eds. Oh! But, if you wanted to look for specific columns, too, just go to “Features” in the above menu and voila! You’ll see them all. You can even click on specific ones that you’re looking for at this time, as well.

Furthermore, we now even have an “Interviews” section where you can check out our exclusive sit downs with stars and the people around them who make them household names.

And as we mentioned before, you’ll still be able to watch our classic video series’; while also checking out new music and getting info on TV shows, movies and specials that are airing on our channel.

When I started working at REVOLT TV in October 2018, I knew that I wanted to help push its website to new heights and with our new look, I feel like I can do that now more than ever before. I’m so proud of the digital space that the company is now in and I’m excited to continue our accomplishments with this new chapter in REVOLT TV’s storied history of being the unapologetic voice for hip hop.

Welcome to the new and improved REVOLT.tv, ladies and gentlemen! Tell your mama, tell your boyfriend, tell your mama’s boyfriend, that it’s the new space for us! We had to do it – for the culture.

Managing Editor,

Isha Thorpe
