Congrats to Chance The Rapper and his wife, Kirsten Bennett. The couple recently announced that they welcomed their second child.

While posting to Instagram, Kirsten shared a photo of her baby girl with her followers. The couple’s newborn, Marli, is seen laying down next to a toy rabbit. As for the outfit, Marli sports a onesie that reads, “I AM WHO HE SAYS I AM.” Keeping the caption short and sweet, Kirsten wrote, “Our sweet baby, Marli, is here.”

Three years ago, the couple welcomed their first child, Kensli. While speaking on fatherhood with Complex, Chance The Rapper explained that being a father is a humbling and gratifying experience, which forced him to make some changes in his life.

“It had a huge impact on what I was doing,” Chance said while speaking on initially becoming a father. “I was touring a lot, trying to figure out where I was going in the world. At the time, I hadn’t started on Coloring Book yet. I was about to release Surf when I found out. I was in limbo, kind of. It was three years out from Acid Rap, still figuring everything out.”

He continued, “I’m still figuring everything out, but it was just another thing on my plate. I was scared and I was in denial, but every day it became a little easier. I’m talking pre-having a baby — because after having a baby it just gets harder. I went from a place of just rejecting it, to not just being optimistic but beckoning it, like, ‘I’m ready to have this baby. Let’s f–king go!’”

More recently, Chano received backlash from fans regarding the theme of his debut album, The Big Day. After reading some comments, the Chicago rapper responded to the haters. “And the number one thing thats been on my heart and has been reaffirmed in the last week that I’m now 100% sure of is.. That I LOVE my wife,” Chance wrote to his social media account.
