Fetty Wap was reportedly arrested in Las Vegas yesterday (Sept. 1) following a dispute that turned ugly.

According to a recent report from TMZ, staffers at the Mirage Hotel and Casino state that Fetty got into a dispute with an employee who was working valet. Shortly after the exchange of words, things got physical, which led Fetty to allegedly punch the victim three times. The New Jersey rapper was booked for three counts of misdemeanor battery for each accused punch. Although Fetty was in custody for a few hours before his release, he has yet to comment on the situation at hand.

To say that it’s been a tough year for Fetty would be an understatement. Back in June, Fetty was under investigation for felony battery after a music video shoot reportedly went wrong. According to Fetty’s accuser, the 28-year-old rapper invited several women to party at an Airbnb following the video shoot. At some point during the gathering, Fetty and the accuser went into a room where things took a turn for the worse. In the video obtained by TMZ, the woman is heard implying that Fetty assaulted her. “Do it again Fetty,” the woman says. “Put your hands on me.”

Earlier this year, while performing for college students at South Padre Island, Texas, Fetty was approached by an angry fan over ending his set early. Someone in the crowd was heard yelling “F–k your set.” Another fan clarified that they paid $40 to watch the rapper perform. As a response, Fetty reached into his pocket for a wad of cash. He proceeded to throw money towards the audience.

Moving forward, Fetty is trying to stay away from the negativity and focus on his love for music. Last month, Fetty released the visual to his track “Bruce Wayne.”
