For those who have been waiting patiently for new music from Kanye West, Kim Kardashian West is here to say that happy days are near.

While posting to Twitter today (Aug. 29), Kim shared a photo of what appears to be a tracklist for an upcoming project from ‘Ye. Atop the list states, Jesus Is King, which fans believe is the Chicago rapper’s project title. Keeping things original, the potential 12-song tracklist features titles such as “SUNDAY,” “GOD IS,” “THROUGH THE VALLEY” and more. Towards the end of Kim’s memo is what appears to be the long-awaited release date: Sept. 27.

It comes as no surprise that Mr. West is sticking to a gospel theme. This past year, the father-of-four has dedicated a great deal of his time to his weekly Sunday Service. Last week, we reported that ‘Ye brought his weekly service to Dayton, Ohio in an effort to honor the victims and survivors of the mass shooting that took place earlier this month.

Reflecting on his career, this isn’t the first time that ‘Ye has hinted at biblical music. Back in 2016, ‘Ye released The Life of Pablo, which he dubbed a gospel album. The 19-track effort featured guest appearances from Chris Brown, Frank Ocean, Chance The Rapper and more. More recently, Chano explained that he supports West’s weekly service.

“I can’t pinpoint a moment when it was like, Ye, has his — I don’t even know what to call it — his revelation, but he does often like, reference me when he talks about it, and I think that’s important. I think fellowship is the most important thing, period, and if we can’t talk about faith, then it’s like, ‘Why are we talking?’” The Big Day spitter said in regards to West’s Sunday Service.

Further down the road, Mr. West hopes to build an empire from his Sunday Service. If his trademark gets approved, West will have the rights to sell exclusive merchandise including clothing, dresses, footwear, headwear, jackets, loungewear, scarves, shirts, socks and clothing tops.
