Kanye West took his Sunday Service to Dayton.

According to TMZ, Kanye held a special Sunday Service today (Aug. 25) in Dayton, Ohio to honor the victims and survivors of the mass shooting that took place earlier this month. The service was held at the RiverScape MetroPark, but it was not announced until the morning of, according to People.

Kim Kardashian tweeted on Sunday morning (Aug. 25), “In support of the victims and survivors of the Dayton mass shooting.” She added a link where fans could access a live stream of the performance.

Kim and the couple’s two oldest children, North and Saint, were on hand at the event.

Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle were in attendance as well. Chappelle even took the stage and spoke with the crowd, TMZ reports. “We’re still here and we’re still strong. And the only way, but not the only way, but the BEST WAY that we can honor our fallen is by getting up better than we were before,” he said.

Chappelle also received a Kanye-led birthday serenade Saturday night (Aug. 24) inside of what looked like a hotel lobby. Kanye guided his choir who performed the Stevie Wonder version of “Happy Birthday.”

As previously reported, Chappelle is currently in Dayton because he is hosting a free block party for residents affected by the tragedy. The “Gem Shine Benefit” concert is scheduled to take place in the Oregon District, which is the area where the mass shooting took place on Aug. 4.

The event is expecting around 20,000 people to be in attendance and is scheduled to take place after Kanye’s Sunday Service, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The benefit concert is also seeking a $20 minimum donation in exchange for a commemorative shirt. The proceeds from the donations will go towards the “tragedy fund at the Dayton Foundation.”
