Chris Brown is breaking a few more hearts.
TMZ is reporting that Chris Brown is adding to his family. The singer and his ex-girlfriend, Ammika Harris, are expecting their first child together. Sources have also revealed that the former couple is having a baby boy. This will be Ammika’s first child, but Brown’s second, as he shares a 5-year-old daughter, Royalty, with Nia Guzman.
Reports say that Chris and Ammika have an amicable relationship, despite them no longer being together. In fact, Ammika is reportedly pleased with Brown’s financial, medical and emotional support.
The rumor mill began to buzz about the former couple expecting a child together back in June. However, fans began speculating as early as May 8, when the singer commented on one of her photos, “BM BAD,” and it was assumed that BM was short for “baby mama.”
Sources are reporting that Chris and Ammika’s son is due in the fall.
Chris announced back in 2015 that he fathered his daughter, Royalty. In an interview with Vibe magazine, the “No Guidance” singer explained that he suspected Royalty was his child before her mother confirmed it.
“I had thought about it. I had saw pictures, and I was like ‘D—.’ So I asked, and [Nia] was like ‘Nah, it’s not you.’ So I was like cool, I didn’t think it was an issue,” Brown said at the time. “But when I found out, it was kind of like, ‘D—, she looks just like me.’ And I didn’t care about how me and her mother didn’t have a relationship, I didn’t care about any situation. I just wanted to see her. I just wanted to be able to have that opportunity, as something personal to me. I’m not gonna be upset, I’m not gonna be mad. I have to be honest with myself and pick the priorities over the situation. I had to make my priority my daughter.”
Months later, Brown released an album, which was named after his daughter.
