Kanye West’s neighbors are not fans of his dome-like housing prototypes and the noise in which they are causing.
According to a report from TMZ, Calabasas neighbors called the cops on West’s construction site this past weekend. Allegedly, the neighbors reported that there were more than 12 hours of construction taking place on Saturday and Sunday even though the city does not permit construction on Sundays. A source informs the news outlet that cops were called on Sunday in regards to the noise. Acting in a timely manner, deputies responded to the call that evening. After arriving at the site, deputies informed the workers to stop the construction.
This isn’t the first time that West has encountered a problem with his prototypes. Earlier this month, several neighbors complained to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works in regards to the prototypes. Inspectors conducted research and found that West’s prototypes were not made to be temporary and are need of proper permits. If ‘Ye doesn’t obtain his permits by Sept. 15, the structures will be torn down.
Although it has been an uphill battle with the prototypes, luckily, West’s Sunday Service appears to be smooth sailing. More recently, the Chicago rapper held his weekly service at a local congregation in San Fernando Valley. During the service, West’s playlist consisted of “This is the Day,” JAY-Z’s “Lift Off,” and Tye Tribbett’s “Lift Him Up.”
Speaking on her husband’s success, Kim Kardashian is proud of West’s accomplishments throughout the years. “I watch how hard he works as he puts his soul into every idea & product that he creates,” Kim said after West covered Forbes. “It’s of no surprise to anyone who works w Kanye that he has been able to turn millions of $ in debt into a billion-dollar empire in only 4 years – 100% on his own terms while owning it 100%,” she wrote on Twitter.
