Following his arrest back in April, Boosie BadAzz has officially been charged with two felonies.

Today (Aug. 17), TMZ reported that the District Attorney in Coweta County charged the Louisiana rapper with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance. Four months ago, cops pulled over Boosie in his white Dodge charger for aggressively swerving lanes and nearly hitting another vehicle. During the traffic stop, the officers at the scene found marijuana, a handgun, and more than $20,000 in cash. Ultimately, prosecutors decided not to charge Boosie for the handgun.

Back in July, we reported that Boosie was ordered to pay a security guard who he previously pepper-sprayed at a mall, back in 2017. U. S. District Judge Louis Guirola Jr. ordered the rapper to pay $233,128.54 to security officer, Glen Kerley, over the situation. Because of Boosie’s failure to show up to court, the judge arrived at that decision.

To say that it’s been a bit of tough year for Boosie would be an understatement. Earlier this year, Boosie went to social media to express his disdain over American Airlines. The Baton Rouge native accused the airline of racism after they blocked him from boarding his flight.

“American Airlines r racist, ignorant, bitch MFs, f—-t ass f–ks. I hope u b—hes [and] y’all planes crash,” he wrote. He then continued on his rant in the caption, even going as far as calling the airline’s employee he communicated with a “b—h ass hater.”

As per XXL, a spokesperson for the airline, LaKesha Brown, explained that the rapper could not board because he was late. “While we understand misconnections are frustrating, [Boosie] was not denied boarding for any other reason other than he arrived after the door had already closed for departure,” another spokesperson for the airline said to TMZ.
