As the day unfolds, Nipsey Hussle’s friends and family share their heartwarming messages for what would’ve been the slain MC’s 34th birthday.

For her part, Beyoncé kept it short and sweet. The Lion King actress uploaded a picture of Hussle with words that read: “The marathon will be televised for N.I.P. ‘Cause true kings don’t die, we multiply, peace, happy birthday in paradise.”

In addition to Beyoncé, T.I. also honored his late brother. “Happy C-day Lil Bro…. We’ve all faced trauma and dealt wit death our whole lives but for some reason yours hit different… Even still we stand solid,” he wrote. “You left an undeniable legacy behind for all of us to use as a blueprint to success. With love and respect we represent & salute you daily!!! #TMC.”

Fittingly so, DJ Khaled posted a clip of his music video “Higher,” which features The Victory Lap rapper. “Higher” was the last video Hussle starred in before his untimely death back in March. “Long Live @nipseyhussle Happy Birthday King The Marathon Continues,” Khaled wrote as his Instagram caption.

For the most touching post of all, Lauren London wished her soulmate the happiest of birthdays. Although it’s hard not to be emotional, London reiterated that Hussle would’ve wanted his fans to be uplifted and motivated.

“Today, we celebrate You my beloved,” she began. “Today we honor you King. We are to live in our highest vibrations today because that is how Nip lived his life. We should encourage and inspire today because that is how Hussle lived his life. Today we should love and give truth because that is how He lived his life. His Purpose still lives on with us all. Ermias wasn’t a sad soul. He was a powerful strong magical soul. Today is the day we lift up. Long Live My other half, my beloved King, Ermias. Nip Hussle The Great! I miss you, I love you. Still here holding it UP!”
