The verdict is in. A$AP Rocky has been found guilty of assault in Sweden, however, he will not have to return to jail.

Earlier today (Aug. 14), TMZ reported that the four judges issued their written ruling. The judges stated that Rocky and his friends “were not in a situation where they were entitled to self-dense.” Throughout the case, prosecutors were going back and forth on whether or not Rocky threw a bottle at the alleged victim, Mustafa Jafari. Rocky explained that he only picked up the bottle for protection but never hit Jafari with the item.

As a bonus, there was not a single witness who could attest that Rocky hit Jafari with the item. With the information they were presented, the judges concluded that Rocky will not have to return to jail nor do any community service.

Although he didn’t get any jail time, Rocky received a suspended sentence. The “Fashion Killa” spitter will have to pay various fees and fines including restitution to the victim and cover the cost of Sweden’s court expenses.

This past weekend, Rocky took the stage at the Real Street Festival for his first live performance following his trial. While on stage, the 30-year-old musician surprised the audience with guest appearances from Tyler, the Creator and A$AP Ferg. During his performance, he took a moment to acknowledge the rough patch in his life.

“I just want to say, what I experienced it’s crazy,” Rocky said to the crowd. “I’m so happy to be here y’all don’t even understand. That was a scary humbling experience God is good. People that I don’t even f–king know was reaching out. Hip hop never felt so good man.”

Before ending his set, Rocky humbly asked his fans to keep praying for him with his pending verdict approaching. “Everybody listen. I know y’all was praying for me. I’m gonna need y’all to keep praying for me. You know what I’m saying?” he said.

Thankfully, it looks like Rocky’s fans’ prayers might’ve worked after all.
