Wedding bells are in the near future for Nicki Minaj and her boyfriend, Kenneth Petty, for real this time.

During yesterday’s episode of Queen Radio, the 36-year-old rapper stated that she previously obtained her marriage license but it expired. As a result, she and Petty filed documents to receive another one.

“We filed for the marriage license and we still had to pick it up and I was traveling, by the time I came back, we had to renew it again,” Minaj revealed. “From that time, you have 90 days to get married. That was about a week ago, so now I have about 80 days.”

Although Minaj has the wedding to focus on, she states that her upcoming album is a priority as well. The Pink Friday spitter admitted that she is still working on her forthcoming project. Minaj plans to get married first, then release her album. With this agreement, Minaj is at her happiest.

“I have to work on my album and I have a lot to focus on that I don’t want to do the big wedding now. We’ll do the big wedding later,” Minaj began. “I’ll be married before my album comes out, but will have my wedding after the album comes out. Before the 90 days is over, yes, I will be married. I’m very happy about that because my baby makes me so happy.”

More recently, the Queen Radio host made an appearance on Megan Thee Stallion’s latest track, “Hot Girl Summer,” which also features Ty Dolla $ign. While on Twitter, Minaj revealed that she hopped on the record last minute after immediately falling in love with the sound.

“…Once I heard the song I fell in love. Wrote it b4 I went to sleep. None of that was planned. I had no idea meg was on live or that she would want to go live 2gthr,” Minaj shared on Twitter.

Congrats to Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty.
