A$AP Rocky is back like he never left.

Last night (Aug. 11), Rocky lit up the stage at the 2019 Real Street Festival. Before diving deep into his performance, Rocky shared how grateful he was to be back on stage following a rather difficult summer.

“I just want to say, what I experienced it’s crazy,” Rocky said to the crowd. “I’m so happy to be here y’all don’t even understand. That was a scary humbling experience God is good. People that I don’t even f–king know was reaching out. Hip hop never felt so good man.”

During his set, A$AP previewed a brand new song for his loyal fans. In addition to that, he surprised the crowd with performances by YG, Tyler, the Creator and A$AP Ferg. Before performing their 2013 hit, “Work,” Ferg shared with the audience that he is so happy to see his brother back in the United States.

For many fans, it was great to see Rocky onstage doing what he loves. On July 2, the New York rapper was arrested and charged with assault in Stockholm, Sweden. After a month behind Swedish bars, Rocky was released. During the trial, however, prosecutors urged that the rapper be sentenced to six months in prison. On Wednesday (Aug. 14), a verdict will be made regarding Rocky’s case although there are reports suggesting that 30-year-old musician might be acquitted of all charges.

While on Instagram, Rocky shared a heartfelt thank you post to his loyal fans. “I CANT BEGIN TO DESCRIBE HOW GRATEFUL I AM FOR ALL OF YOU THIS HAS BEEN A VERY DIFFICULT AND HUMBLING EXPERIENCE. I WANT TO THANK THE COURT FOR ALLOWING ME BLADI AND THOTO TO RETURN TO OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS. THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL OF THE LOVE AND SUPPORT,” he wrote.
