This week, many artists have shared their favorites while on social media. Today (Aug. 8), Chance The Rapper joined in on the fun and shared some of his favorite songs.

While on Twitter, Chano wrote: “Some of my favorite songs: a thread.” In the 27-song thread, the Chicago emcee cites songs from Michael Jackson (“Human Nature”), Sean Paul (“Like Glue”), 50 Cent (“Many Men”), Chris Brown (“Kiss Kiss”), Kanye West (“We Don’t Care”), Lil Wayne (“Let The Beat Build”), Nicki Minaj (“Beez in the Trap”), Drake (“Headlines”) Lauryn Hill (“To Zion”) and many more.

In hindsight, it isn’t surprising that Chance shared this thread considering he recently revealed his favorite album. While speaking with Zane Lowe, Chance tooted his own horn and credited his 2013 mixtape. “To me, personally, the best album of all time … Acid Rap,” Chance stated.

Surprisingly, The Big Day faced a lot of mixed reviews. Some of Chance’s fans weren’t too fond of the messages behind the LP. The 26-year-old spitter admitted that he didn’t have the best concept while working on his album.

“When I first started working on the album, the concept, the theme,” Chance begins. “We have school, we have acid, we have faith and family, and the fourth one — really the first one — the concept was ‘Best Album Of All Time’. And that’s not really a good concept to make an album. It gives you no direction.”

In addition to that, a lot of memes were created on social media poking fun at the number of times Chance mentions his adoration for his wife. Nonetheless, Chance chooses to rise above the negativity. “And the number one thing thats been on my heart and has been reaffirmed in the last week that I’m now 100% sure of is.. That I LOVE my wife,” Chance wrote on Twitter.
