Drake’s 2019 OVO Festival is one that will go down in the books. Although the festival might be over, some fans still have a bone to pick with the 32-year-old rapper.

A few weeks ago, many of Drizzy’s fans pointed out that his OVO Festival ticket prices were on the high-end side. One fan stated that Drake willingly gives away money but charges his city an outrageous price for a festival.

“Drake charges 1000 + for a concert in his city but shows up to schools in the US and hands out money to random people and etc,” the fan wrote possibly hinting at Drake’s “God’s Plan” video. In the Director X-directed visual, Drake gives out a ton of money to the city of Miami.

Following the fan’s criticism, Drake kept his reply short and sweet. The Take Care spitter reiterated that he can’t control everything in life. “I can control a lot of things but I can’t control resale prices shordeeeee,” he wrote.

Luckily, for fans who were in attendance for the festival, Drake made sure it was worth their while. Drizzy performed hits from his Care Package LP, which released to streaming platforms last week. In addition to that, the Toronto spitter surprised the audience with guest appearances from Chris Brown, Cardi B, Offset, Meek Mill, Rick Ross and more.

While on Instagram, Champagne Papi expressed gratitude towards everyone who played a part in making the night unforgettable. “Thank you to Lil Baby, Da Baby, Popcaan, Gucci Mane, YG, Tyga, Rick Ross, Meg, Cardi and Set, Meek Mill, and Breezy for blessing the city last night!!! I am beyond grateful for all the artists that take time out of their schedules to travel and show so much love!” he wrote as his Instagram caption.
